Juventus hitman Amauri is set to be out of action for several weeks after injurying his right Achilles tendon against Bologna.
The Italian international came off midway through the first half against the Rossoblu complaining of pain in his foot, and scans have revealed he has had a negative reaction in his right foot.
Amauri will miss this weekend's clash against fierce rivals Milan and the Bianconeri's match against Salzburg in the Europa League next week.
The Bianconeri currently sit in fifth position on 12 points, seven points behind league leaders Lazio.
